Dr. Andy Woon usually spends time with his patients by listening to their problems patiently and does his best to solve his patients’ dental problems professionally. He does not rush his patient as many of the “busy” dentists often do so.

How he ended up a dentist is an unusual yet fascinating story.

Despite being a rising marketing consultant for several years in Kuala Lumpur with the Genting Group of Companies, Dr. Andy Woon decided to pursue his passion in dentistry which lead him to enroll as a mature student in the Dental Faculty of Manipal University, which is one of the oldest dental schools in India.

He graduated at the top of his class in 2008.

When he returned to Malaysia, he started his dentistry career with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia from 2008 to 2011. Thereafter, he founded LivingSmile Dental Surgery.

Dr. Andy Woon has a special interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) and Dental Implant. His primary goal is to produce the most predictable and successful treatment for all patients under his care. He attended many well established continuing education meetings, which enable him to keep up with the latest advancement in the rapidly changing field of Endodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Besides, he provides the highest level of care for his patients and maintains on the cutting edge available Implant Surgery and Prosthodontics.

He participates actively in all kinds of advanced training, to keep him updated with the latest dental technology which is useful in his treatment planning. He has completed a 2 years academic and clinical program of continuous dental education via Progressive Orthodontics Seminar, an U.S-based Post-Graduate Dentistry Education provider.
